Santa Fe Adolescent Services (SFAS)
The goal of SFAS's community-based programs is to provide innovative, culturally specific, and individualized intervention services to the youth and families of Tarrant County. Santa Fe Adolescent Services provides a wide range of prevention, intervention, and counseling services. Programs are offered in a variety of settings throughout the county. Services are free of charge and many programs are offered in homes or school settings.

Our Mission is to provide accessible and innovative prevention, intervention and counseling services to those youth and families most in need.
Core Beliefs
- All youth deserve access to mental health and substance abuse services.
- Innovative and accessible strategies are essential to meet the needs of high risk youth.
- Youth and families in crisis need assistance to ensure access to needed services.
- Community based programs are crucial to effective prevention and intervention strategies for those youth most in need of services and least likely to access them.

Signs & Symptoms of Drug Use
It is important to know that if a child shows any of the following symptoms, it does not necessarily mean that he or she is using drugs. The presence of some of these behaviors could be the product of adolescent stress. Others may be symptoms of depression or a host of other problems. Whatever the cause, they may warrant attention, especially if they persist or occur in a cluster. Linking Youth to Needed Community Services. (LYNCS) is a community based counseling program which utilizes the Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach. [more]
Reconnecting Youth
A School Based Intervention Program designed for high school students and is rooted in a subtle but powerful shift of focus. [more]
Community Solutions
Community Solutions of Fort Worth provides “wrap around” services for families referred by Fort Worth ISD schools who are experiencing mental health issues. [more]

Violence Program
Second Step is a series of lessons, which addresses the issue of violence among adolescents. It is designed to reduce their impulsive and aggressive behavior and increase their ability to get along with others. [more]

Services Project
