Joining Together In 2015, Santa Fe Youth Services merged with Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) in order to increase our collective impact by creating a continuum of services to better promote resiliency and enhance social and emotional health for youth and families.
Many decisions are made and patterns developed that can impact a young person’s entire future. Consequences of risky behavior, whether it be alcohol or drug use, family conflict, trauma,or bullying contribute to problems for the individual and have a ripple effect on the family, community, and society as a whole.
Adolescence also provides a window of opportunity for adults to teach, support, and encourage healthy decisions and lifestyles. That’s what Santa Fe Youth Services is about – seizing the opportunity to provide prevention, intervention, and counseling services designed specifically for the social and emotional development for adolescents to help nurture, restore, and reveal a youth’s potential.
