Cannabis Youth Therapy (CYT)

The Cannabis Youth Therapy (CYT) program was developed to address the needs of adolescents using marijuana as their drug of choice. Funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, CYT has been selected as one of the ten exemplary delinquency prevention programs in the nation.

Santa Fe Youth Services offers the CYT program in collaboration with the Tarrant County Juvenile Drug Court to:

• eliminate or reduce all marijuana / drug use
• eliminate or reduce involvement in the juvenile justice system
• increase the ability to refuse marijuana and other drugs
• increase school attendance and performance
• improve family functioning
